Siargao is a remote island located at the easternmost end of the Philippines, facing the Philippine Deep, which is the second deepest trench in the world. The swells from this trench break on Siargao's shores, making the island the surfing capital of the Philippines. Pansukian Tropical Resort is nestled in a quiet corner of Siargao Island. And those looking for something more can try surfing, learn how to dive (lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to the availability of the instructor), go fishing (also subject to the availability of the fishing guide), or explore the different islands in one of the resort's two fiber-glass boats.
